About Octaevo

Octaevo is a Barcelona-based design studio founded by Marcel Baer, a Swiss-born creative director who studied at Central Saint Martins in London and worked for Gucci and Assouline before settling in Barcelona in 2009. Inspired by his family's archives of Mediterranean adventure, sea voyages, Super 8 films of 1960s journeys from Rome to Athens and Beirut to Tel Aviv, Octaevo creates thoughtful design objects for contemporary living.
