Be spring ready! The Marti, or “March,” bracelet is rooted in Ancient Greek tradition. Starting on March 1st, to welcome spring and the beautiful weather ahead, it is traditional to wear a bracelet of white and red string. The white symbolizes purity and the red symbolizes life. At the end of March the bracelet is hung on a tree in the hopes that it will help the tree be healthy and fruitful or for a bird to build its new nest.
